Those who don’t want to play with your feelings, won’t play with your feelings.
If someone says this phrase to you but is acting in a way that actually hurts you: Trust actions and not speech.
There are the ones who want to run by your side, there are the ones who want to have fun behind your back. And this isn’t about whether you’re cool or not. It’s not about the freedom you allow. It’s about the character of those who you have trusted.
I’ve been to both places. The one who plays and the one who trusted.
My character (in this case, the lack of it) puts me in the place of someone who plays. But it wasn’t a lack of my character to be on the other end (a little, or a lot, of the law of return, for sure). But one thing I can tell for sure it was my lack of full trust in my intuition.
Dear women, if we trusted what we heard internally. If we pay attention to the signals that our bodies give us. If we didn’t question our intuition…
As Clarissa Pinkola said, “questions are the key to the universe”… being a wild woman is about learning to sniff out what has escaped the eye; it’s about hearing what you can’t see; It’s about feeling what isn’t said.
This is why we are so dangerous… because we are not fooled – not for long.
